I asked Andy if he would custom design two knives as gifts for me. WOW! He asked questions about each person, so he know more about them to customize the knives in some way for each of them. The skill, time and care that he put into hand making these knives was unbelievable. The quality of the design, the handle and the knife itself are solid. They are both 1 of a kind and they were truly a labor of love. The gifts were a huge hit.  Dr. Andy has a raw talent and does superior work.  **** 5 Stars absolutely! 

So I've ordered knives from other bladesmiths before and always there seems to be one flaw or another with the build itself. Sometimes it's the feel of the handle (details matter), sometimes the curvature of the cutting edge, and even sometimes the pins themselves. The modified tanto I ordered had no issues..none...nadda..it fit  like a glove in my hand and is very easy to manipulate. I love good knives and this one fits like a glove in my hand! I will be ordering another from this detailed craftsman!
